Black College Reunion (BCR) is an event struggling to stay in existence. Once the darling of Black Spring Breakers, it appears that the Black College Reunion has fallen victim to the same host of problems which led to the demise of Freaknik -- namely: tensions with local residents over the traffic gridlock & rowdiness, lack of activities, loss of sponsorship, and an intimidating police presence.
